Villa Medici unveils the major refurbishment of 6 guest rooms and 2 historic gardens, a large-scale project combining architectural and scenic heritage, contemporary design and arts & crafts.

Inspired by the Parisian apartment-studios of creative icons such as Le Corbusier and Brancusi, the room is conceived as a functional and flexible space that adapts to the life and work of each guest. At the heart of the project is a large solid wood table around which daily activities—writing, reading, cooking, and creating—intertwine, encouraging encounters, dialogue, and inspiration. The environment is completed by a large bench for relaxation, harmoniously integrated into the architectural structure.
Natural materials such as wood and plaster, both characteristic of Villa Medici, are reinterpreted in a balance between architectural lines and organic curves, echoing the dual outlook of the room: one side facing the city, the other the gardens.
The walls and light fixtures have been finished with Terrae-Calce by Ideal Work, a textured coating that enhances the natural essence and depth of the surfaces.
The staircase, meanwhile, is finished in Microtopping®, offering visual continuity and a sense of contemporary elegance that blends seamlessly into the historical and artistic setting of the Villa.
